Privacy Policy
This policy covers craftbatch.ai, the website. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to matt@craftbatchmarketing.com and we will answer plainly.
Client files never touch this website.
Nothing about our engagement work runs through this site. We do not accept document uploads here, and there is no mechanism on this website to send us a client file. When we work together, Claude reads your files locally on your own machines under a separate written engagement agreement. That agreement, not this policy, governs how we handle anything relating to your matters.
What this site collects.
Two things, and nothing else.
- The discovery call form. If you submit it, we receive your firm name, practice areas, number of attorneys, and your two written answers about your work. We also record the referring page and your browser’s user agent string so we know where enquiries come from.
- Analytics. We use Plausible, which is cookieless and does not collect personal information or build cross-site profiles. It tells us page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not tell us who you are.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not run remarketing pixels, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone for advertising.
Where it goes.
Form submissions are emailed straight to matt@craftbatchmarketing.com through Resend so we can reply. We do not keep a separate database of enquiries. Resend, and Plausible for analytics, are the only third parties involved, and each processes what it receives on our behalf.
How long we keep it.
Your enquiry lives in our email, nowhere else. We keep it while the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Your choices.
Write to matt@craftbatchmarketing.com and you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify the request. California residents have specific rights under state privacy law; we extend the same handling to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law.
Changes.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will change the date at the top. This site is a marketing site for a consulting practice; it is not a product with accounts, and we have no plans to start collecting more than we do today.
